Udayan Shah M.D., Facp

Dr. Udayan Shah has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Udayan has recently worked at Bright Health, starting as an Associate Medical Director in August 2019, then progressing to Medical Director in March 2021, and currently holds the position of Lead Medical Director since February 2022. In addition to their role at Bright Health, Dr. Shah also works in private practice as an Internist since December 2019. Udayan has further contributed to the field of medicine as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at California Health Sciences University (CHSU) from August 2019 to May 2021. Prior to these positions, Dr. Shah served as a Private Practice Owner at Valley Premier Medical Group from September 2017 to February 2021. Udayan also worked as a Hospitalist at Saint Agnes Medical Center from December 2017 to February 2019. Dr. Shah began their medical career as an Internal Medicine Resident at UT Southwestern Medical Center from July 2014 to June 2017.

Udayan Shah, MD, FACP completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they attended the University of Michigan Medical School from 2009 to 2014, where they earned their MD degree in Medicine. Udayan Shah also holds additional certifications including Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine, Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) accreditation from AAMI, and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification from Microsoft.
