Bryan Kershner

Bryan Kershner has a diverse work experience in actuarial roles. Bryan started their career as a Data Control Clerk at ACE Group in 2010, where they registered new claim loss information and assisted customers with data inquiries. In 2011, Bryan worked as an Intern at the Office of the Actuary, CMS, analyzing health insurance company bids and providing analysis and documentation of findings. Bryan then joined MetLife in 2012 and held various roles, including Actuarial Associate and Senior Actuarial Associate, until 2017. During their time at MetLife, Bryan utilized Polysystems for valuations, created Excel spreadsheets, and automated processes using VBA macros. Since 2017, Bryan has been working at Brighthouse Financial as an Actuary and later as a Director & Actuary.

Bryan Kershner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science and Risk Management from Towson University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Bryan also holds certifications including Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) obtained in 2014, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) obtained in 2017, and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) obtained in 2020.
