Paul Villanueva

Paul Villanueva has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Paul is currently working as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Brightline Trains since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Florida East Coast Industries from 2013 to 2023, holding various roles including Director of Shared Applications, Senior Business Intelligence Developer, and Systems Analyst/Developer. Before that, they had experience at Flagler Development Group as a Sr. Applications Developer from 2008 to 2013, where they were involved in software design, implementation, and system transitions. Paul also worked at Bilzin Sumberg as a Systems Administrator/Jr. Developer from 2005 to 2008, and at Future Voice, LLC as a Jr. Systems Developer in 2005.

Paul Villanueva obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University - College of Business in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University, which they completed between 2000 and 2003.
