Andrew Rich

Andrew Rich has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Andrew is currently working at Brightline as a Principal Software Engineer on the enterprise team, where they focus on reducing upfront therapy costs for families. In this role, they developed an admin interface for client contracts and pricing. Prior to Brightline, Andrew worked at Icario as a Principal Developer, where they contributed to containerizing Ruby on Rails apps and built a centralized message bus for event-based processing. Andrew also served as a Senior Developer/Team Lead at Icario before that. Andrew has previous experience as a Software Developer at Pearson VUE and as a Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters, where they worked on enterprise-level commerce sites and site redesigns. Additionally, they have participated as an R Programmer in the Google Summer of Code program.

Andrew Rich attended Germantown Friends School from 2001 to 2008, where they obtained their high school degree. Following this, they went on to enroll at Macalester College from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. Andrew specialized in the fields of Mathematics and Physics during their time at Macalester. In 2015, they also obtained a certification in The Analytics Edge from edX, which led to an edX Verified Certificate.
