Carolyn McCarthy, MA, NBC-HWC, RYT

Carolyn McCarthy Stewart has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Currently, they are a Manager of Care Operations at Brightline, where they are responsible for overseeing daily operations of the care team. Prior to this, they served as a Care Operations Senior Specialist, Coaching and a Care Operations Specialist at the same company. In these roles, they implemented projects to enhance workflows, managed a growing team of providers, and developed a feedback system.

Before joining Brightline, Carolyn founded and owned a coaching and wellness business called Haven Coaching + Wellness. Carolyn developed the business strategy, managed the website and marketing, and led groups and individuals to achieve success through customized programs.

Additionally, Carolyn has experience in the field of education and counseling. Carolyn served as a Graduate Practitioner Instructor at Wake Forest University, a Counselor, Program Lead, and Testing Manager at Charlotte Catholic High School, a Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Yogarteens Inc., an International Student Coordinator at New Oasis International Education, and a Lead Counselor at Union County Public Schools. Carolyn also held intern and teaching assistant positions at East Forsyth High School and Wake Forest University, respectively.

Carolyn McCarthy Stewart obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling from Wake Forest University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended The Ohio State University from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Psychology and Dance. In addition to their academic degrees, Carolyn has also obtained various certifications.
