K. Priester has extensive work experience in the mental health field, with a focus on providing therapy and support to individuals and families. They have served as a Behavioral Health Clinician at Brightline since 2022. Prior to this, K. Priester worked as a Committee Member for the Oakland Department of Violence Prevention starting in 2018. They also served as a Multidimensional Family Clinician at Lincoln Families from 2018 to 2022, providing comprehensive therapy to families in need. In addition, K. Priester worked as a Residential Clinician at Bay Area Community Services for a brief period in 2018. Their earlier work experience includes being a Mental Health Specialist at Conard House, Inc. from 2014 to 2018, where they provided therapy and support to adults with severe mental health challenges. K. Priester also worked as an Administrative Support Assistant at the Florida State University Center for Leadership and Social Change in 2013 and as a Youth Development Specialist for C.A.R.E. Upward Bound at Florida State University from 2013 to 2014.

K. Priester, LMFT, PCC, CBHCM-S completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University from 2012 to 2014. Subsequently, in 2016, K. Priester obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from The Wright Institute.
