Kelly Shinoda, SHRM-CP

Kelly Shinoda, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kelly is currently working as a Human Resources Manager at Brightline since September 2022. Previously, from September 2019 to August 2022, Kelly served as a People Operations Manager at Tally Inc, where they were responsible for developing and managing processes related to hiring, onboarding, employee support, and offboarding. Kelly also oversaw policies and procedures, compliance, government reporting, non-regulatory employee training, equity programs, immigration and visa processes, employment practices, and data management.

Before Tally Inc, Kelly worked as a Senior People Services Coordinator at Collaborative Solutions, LLC from March 2018 to September 2019. In this role, they delivered reports, responded to HR-related inquiries, and managed incoming calls.

Prior to Collaborative Solutions, LLC, Kelly was an HR Generalist at LISI from February 2016 to March 2018, where they gained experience in various HR functions. Kelly also worked as an HR Coordinator at TubeMogul, Inc. from April 2015 to February 2016.

Kelly's earlier experience includes roles at Attack! and DreamWorks Animation, where they served as an HR Coordinator/Accounting Coordinator, Account Coordinator, and Benefits Assistant respectively. Kelly also had a brief stint as an HR Assistant at PMK*BNC and a Recruiting Coordinator at Warner Bros. Studios.

Kelly started their professional journey as a Recruiting Intern at DreamWorks Animation in September 2011, demonstrating early interest in the HR field.

Kelly Shinoda, SHRM-CP, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from California State University-Long Beach - College of Business, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Temple City High School from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Kelly Shinoda has also obtained the certification of SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in June 2020.
