Kelsey Breen

Kelsey Breen, MLIS, is an experienced academic librarian and educator with a strong background in library services and teaching. Since August 2021, Kelsey has served as an Adjunct Librarian at Oakland Community College. Concurrently, Kelsey has been a Family and Consumer Science Teacher and Librarian at Huron Valley Schools since August 2016. Previous roles include substitute librarian positions at Brighton District Library and Walsh College, as well as a Librarian position at Beecher Institute. Kelsey has developed library policies, online resource lists, and taught research and writing classes. Kelsey's comprehensive library experience is complemented by a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and various certifications, including genealogical research and Irish studies.
