Olivia Duong is currently serving as a Digital Asset Management Librarian at MedPage Today, beginning in November 2023, and has held various substitute librarian positions at Clinton-Macomb Public Library, Baldwin Public Library, and Chesterfield Township Library since October 2023. Olivia gained relevant experience as a Directed Fieldwork Intern in Technical and Collection Services at The Seattle Public Library in 2023, focusing on providing opportunities for underrepresented students. Previous roles include Graduate Student Reference Specialist at University of Washington Libraries and Taxonomy Analyst Intern at Intuitive. Olivia also contributed as a Health Sciences Librarian Intern at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. and worked in collection management at Clinton-Macomb Public Library. Prior to entering library science, Olivia was a Development Coordinator at the Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel. Olivia holds a Master of Library & Information Science degree from the University of Washington (2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University (2016).

The Clinton-Macomb Public Library (CMPL) is a district library serving a rapidly growing population of 185,000. Formed in 1992, CMPL directly serves all of the residents of Macomb Township and most of Clinton Township, with the exception of the portion in the Mount Clemens School District, which is served by Mount Clemens Public Library. CMPL is mostly funded by local property taxes from residents of Clinton and Macomb Townships. CMPL is a member of the Suburban Library Cooperative, encompassing 20 libraries in the cities and townships north of Metro Detroit.
