Laurie Walters

Laurie Walters, MLIS, currently serves as the Head of Youth Services at Brighton District Library, a position held since May 2013, following roles as a Youth Services Librarian and Substitute Youth Services Librarian. Previous experience includes serving as Librarian at St. Paul Lutheran School from August 2018 to June 2020, and as Youth Services Librarian at Baldwin Public Library from September 2004 to 2011. Laurie Walters began a career in library services as Lead Librarian at International Christian School in Seoul from 2002 to 2004. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in English from King University.
