Aaron Flynn

Aaron Flynn has a diverse work experience in software development and testing. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Brightpearl. In this role, they work in a multi-disciplinary scrum team to produce high quality integrations to third party partners, and is responsible for performance, security, and functional testing. From 2017-2021, they worked at HM Land Registry as a Test Manager & Engineer and a Test Analyst. In this role, they were accountable for testing in teams, created and supported processes, and maintained and improved organization test artefacts. From 2014-2017, they worked at FDM Group as an IT Consultant, completing modules of the Application Support and Software Testing Analyst programs. Aaron also worked at Wincor Nixdorf as an Automation Test Analyst from 2014-2017. Finally, from 2012-2014, they worked as an Intern at Zhejiang Succesful Software, where they researched software, presented findings, and reviewed English documents.

Aaron Flynn has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Maynooth University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013. Aaron also holds a number of certifications, including Agile at Work: Planning with Agile User Stories, Kubernetes: Microservices, Learning Docker, Learning Kubernetes, Advanced Level Test Manager (CTAL), Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer, Agile Tester (CTFL-AT), ITIL v3 Foundation, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), ISTQB- Foundation Level, and Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing. The certifications were obtained in 2021, 2018, 2017, and 2014.
