Ahmed Taher Fayed

Ahmed Taher Fayed has a strong background in software quality assurance engineering. Ahmed started their career in 2016 at BADR as a Software Testing Engineer, where they worked in an agile environment, coordinating with the project manager to conduct tests and track bugs. In 2018, they moved to EFG Hermes as a Senior Software Quality Engineer, where they worked in Agile Development processes for stock market exchange systems in multiple countries. Ahmed collaborated with product owners to define acceptance criteria and estimated testing efforts. Ahmed then held various Senior Software QA Analyst and Engineering roles at InsideTrack, Vestaboard, Concentrical, REO, and Rubikal, gaining extensive experience in software quality analysis and engineering. In 2022, they took on the role of Staff Software QA Engineer at LendInvest before becoming a Teacher Assistant at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in 2022. Ahmed currently holds the position of Principal Software QA Engineer at Brightskies since 2023. Ahmed'swork experience showcases their expertise in software quality assurance and their ability to adapt to changing requirements in agile environments.

Ahmed Taher Fayed obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended the University of Sunderland from 2008 to 2012, specializing in the College of Computing - Applied Business Computing. In addition to their formal education, Ahmed has also pursued various certifications. These include the ISTQB-CTFL-AT (Certified Agile Tester) and ISTQB-CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) certifications, obtained in December 2017 and November 2017 respectively. Ahmed has also completed several courses, including "Introduction to Cypress IO" and "Mocha JavaScript Test Framework" from TestAutomationU, both completed in May 2021, and "Advanced Cypress" from TestAutomationU, completed in June 2021.
