Leena Elamrawy

Leena Elamrawy has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and software engineering. Leena is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Brightskies since July 2022. Prior to this, they had an internship as a Data Scientist at Shelf Engine from February 2022 to April 2022. Leena also gained experience as a Global Data Intern at Bloomberg LP in June 2021 to August 2021. Leena worked as a Data Scientist at Brightskies from December 2020 to June 2021 and had a previous internship at Bloomberg LP as a Global Data Intern from June 2020 to August 2020. Leena's earlier experience includes being an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute from September 2018 to September 2019 and a Data Science Intern at American Express from June 2019 to August 2019. Leena served as the Outreach and Professional Development Head for the Data Science Student Society at UCSD from January 2017 to June 2019. Additionally, Leena had internships as a Data Science Intern at Microsoft in July 2018 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Brightskies Technologies from July 2017 to September 2017.

Leena Elamrawy completed their Master of Science (MS) in Data Science from the University of Washington between 2020 and 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Data Science with a minor in Economics from UC San Diego between 2016 and 2020. Leena started their higher education journey by completing their IB Diploma from The British International School, Cairo in the year 2016.
