Erin Laramie

Erin Laramie has extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Erin is currently working as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Brightspeed, where they are responsible for building a smart, fiber optics–based network and ensuring a simple and easy customer experience. Erin previously held the role of Manager of Talent Acquisition at Sloan, where they revamped the talent acquisition strategy to focus on employer branding and positioning Sloan as an Employer of Choice. Prior to that, Erin worked as a Regional Talent Acquisition Manager at HMSHost, a global restaurateur operating in airports and travel plazas. Erin also served as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Assurant, where they redesigned the recruiting process and managed executive-level retained search. Erin has experience in executive recruiting as well, having worked as an Executive Recruiter at Follett Corporation and as the Managing Director of SmartHire Inc., a full-service recruiting company. Erin began their career as a Recruiting Manager at Robert Half Legal, where they successfully increased attorney placements and provided coaching and branding support.

Erin Laramie has a Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. Erin also has a certification as a Certified Partner for LEA 360 from MRG (Management Research Group), which they obtained in 2020.
