Kevin Newbury

Kevin Newbury is a seasoned Network Implementation Engineer currently working at Brightspeed since October 2022. With extensive experience in various roles, Kevin previously held the position of Local Network Implementation Engineer at Lumen Technologies from September 2020 to November 2022 and served as Engineer II at CenturyLink from May 2015 to September 2020, where responsibilities included managing and designing OSP projects in the Wake Forest/Raleigh district. Prior experience includes roles at ONUG Communications, Inc. as an Outside Plant Engineering Specialist and a 26-year tenure at Verizon, where Kevin progressed through several engineering and management positions, overseeing major projects. Kevin obtained an AA in Computer Science from Anne Arundel Community College between 1990 and 1997 and graduated from Albert Einstein High School in 1978. Additionally, Kevin has been involved with the Carolina Mudcats as Game Day Video staff since 2006.
