Jennifer Quante Rn, Bsn, Ocn

Jennifer Quante, RN, BSN, OCN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Jennifer started their career at Methodist Healthcare System in 2015 as a Patient Care Assistant, where they provided delegated patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. In 2017, they became a Registered Nurse Adult Blood Cancer at Methodist Healthcare System, specializing in blood cancer and bone marrow transplant for the adult and geriatric population. Jennifer'sresponsibilities included administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications, as well as educating patients and family members about disease processes and expected outcomes.

Jennifer also worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) from 2015 to 2016, where they provided academic support to students.

In 2014, they had two roles - as a Courier at Eton Bioscience, Inc., where they communicated with DNA sequencing coordinators to obtain samples and delivered them to San Diego, CA, and as a Computer Programming Consultant at CoreSpring, where they conducted quality assurance and completed content updates.

Most recently, Jennifer was a Pediatric Registered Nurse at Aveanna Healthcare from April to July 2022. In this role, they provided total care for a medically complex pediatric patient with a gastrostomy tube, collaborating with the patient's full care team, parents, nurse manager, and pharmacy.

Jennifer is currently working as a Home Health Nurse at BrightStar Care, starting in December 2021. Jennifer'sresponsibilities include administering supportive medications and infusions, monitoring for side effects and adverse reactions, and conducting head-to-toe assessments to determine patient stability before, during, and after infusions. Jennifer also maintains clinical documentation and coordinates medication changes with the pharmacy and Nurse Manager.

Jennifer Quante, RN, BSN, OCN has a diverse education history. Jennifer obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from UT Health San Antonio, which took place from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Arts (AA) degree at San Antonio College from an unspecified start year to 2018.

Jennifer's undergraduate studies began at Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Health with a focus on Allied Health. This program lasted from 2011 to 2014.

Jennifer's educational journey was initiated at Incarnate Word High School, where they completed their high school education and received their High School Diploma in an unspecified period between 2007 and 2011.

In addition to their degrees, Jennifer has acquired two certifications. Jennifer obtained the Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation in July 2019. Jennifer also holds a CPR certification, which they acquired from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in December 2021.
