Edgardo Cruz Mba

Edgardo Cruz has over 30 years of work experience in finance and business development. Edgardo started their career at Motorola in 1990, where they held various finance roles, including Financial Analyst and Corporate Auditor. In 1993, Edgardo became the Latin America Finance Manager, responsible for financial planning and support for different businesses within the company. Edgardo was also the Latin America Accounting Manager, overseeing the distribution finance organization in Puerto Rico.

From 1997 to 2004, Edgardo served as the Service Controller, Service and System Integrations Controller, and Senior Go To Market Controller for Motorola, managing financial operations and providing support to different teams. In 2004, they became the Director of Finance for Latin America, responsible for the government distribution organization and supporting the go-to-market sales organization.

In 2011, Edgardo joined Brightstar as the Director of Business Development, where they played a key role in developing buy back and trade-in opportunities with mobile operators across Latin America. Edgardo successfully negotiated and closed the first buy back global agreement with America Movil, the largest mobile operator in Latin America.

Throughout their career, Edgardo has demonstrated strong financial leadership, managing multi-million dollar budgets and leading teams of professionals. Edgardo holds a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree.

Edgardo Cruz CPA MBA completed their education through the following institutions:

- From 1988 to 1990, they attended the University of Illinois Chicago, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting.

- From 1983 to 1987, they pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree specializing in Accounting at the University of Puerto Rico.
