Christoforos Iraklis Giakoumatos has held various medical and psychiatric roles throughout their career. In 2019, they worked as an Addiction Psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2020, they became the Medical Director at Brightview. Currently, since 2022, they are the Private Practice Owner at New England Concierge Psychiatry and Addiction Treatment LLC.

Christoforos Iraklis Giakoumatos completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. Christoforos Iraklis then pursued further education at the Harvard South Shore Psychiatry Residency Program, where they completed an Adult Psychiatry Residency Program from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they attended the Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital for an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship from 2018 to 2019.
