Tara Spillane

Tara Spillane has a strong background in senior living and has held various roles in the industry. Tara began their career at Sunrise Senior Living in 2012, where they quickly progressed from Life Enrichment Manager to Activities and Volunteer Coordinator. During their time at Sunrise, Tara oversaw a team of six members and successfully grew the volunteer base by 15%. In 2016, they joined Chelsea Senior Living as a Lifestyle Director, where they managed a team of six associates and focused on daily programming and community outreach. Tara then moved to Brandywine Living in 2017 as the Activities Director, where they led a team of six programming team members and a volunteer department. Tara coordinated community events, collaborated with external organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association, and hosted numerous signature events. Most recently, Tara joined Brightview Senior Living in 2020 as a Community Sales Associate.

Tara Spillane, CDP completed their Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Wesley College, Delaware in 2010. Tara further obtained certifications including Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) from The National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners in 2016. Additionally, they obtained a CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross in March 2020.
