Kevin Fan's work experience includes a role as a Quality Engineer at BrightView Technologies, where they developed inspection standards for new products, conducted safety and manufacturing process audits, and created and updated standard work documents. Prior to that, they worked as a Process Engineer at Gränges Americas, Inc., where they implemented process changes to improve recovery rate, managed production trials for new processes and products, and addressed production quality concerns. Kevin also had a role as a Metallurgical Engineer and Product Engineer at Arconic, where they introduced process improvements, collaborated with the New Product Development group to develop new processes and alloys, and evaluated customer new product proposals with the Sales Team. Additionally, they served as a Titanium and Engineered Products R&D Intern at Arconic, updating and maintaining materials test and design databases and assisting in cross-organization database construction. Kevin also has experience as a 1-to-1 tutor at the Center for Academic Success, Georgia Tech, and as a PLUS (Peer-Led Undergraduate Study) Leader, leading sessions and planning curriculum for introductory physics and calculus programs.
