Joanna Xu

Joanna Xu has held a variety of roles in the finance and business operations fields. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Teaching Assistant and President of the Investment Society at Wellesley College. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Summer Analyst and then Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Financial Analyst at TubeMogul, Inc. and then as a Product Marketing and Finance and Strategy employee at Square. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Biz Ops & Finance Lead at Handshake and a Freelance Finance Consultant & Advisor. Currently, they are the Director of Finance & Strategy at brightwheel. Additionally, they ran a pop-up restaurant called Jojo Canteen from 2015 to 2021, serving multi-course meals and take-out and delivery of meal kits and baked goods during the pandemic.

Joanna Xu attended Wellesley College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics.
