Julie DeLoyd

Julie DeLoyd has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Julie is currently the President of brightwheel Education & Experience Early Learning since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Melissa & Doug, LLC as the Chief Transformation Officer from September 2020 to January 2023 and as the Chief Strategy Officer and Sales Leader from September 2018 to March 2020.

Before joining Melissa & Doug, LLC, Julie worked at McKinsey & Company, where they held various roles including Associate Partner from June 2015 to September 2018, Engagement Manager from March 2013 to June 2015, and Associate from September 2011 to February 2013.

Julie's early career includes an internship at Apple as an iTunes Marketing Intern in 2010. Julie also founded and served as the CEO of SIREN RECORDS, where they were a professional musician from May 2000 to 2010.

Julie DeLoyd pursued their education at the New York University, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study was Individualized Study, focusing on Queer Performance Studies. Following this, Julie attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2009 to 2011, where they earned their Master of Business Administration degree. During their time at Chicago Booth, Julie specialized in Marketing Strategy, Statistics & Econometrics, and Entrepreneurship.
