Lauren Anderson

Lauren Anderson has a wealth of experience in people operations and management. Lauren began their career in 2009 at Rustic Pathways as the Director of Operations, Staffing and Training, where they were responsible for the hiring and training of staff for all global travel programs. Lauren also built strategic systems for annual recruitment and retention of 400+ seasonal employees. In this role, they implemented an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to standardize hiring practices in 18+ global offices. Additionally, they managed creative campaigns and marketing strategy for international travel programs, built an alumni network from the ground up, oversaw 19 community service and travel programs, and managed budget for a program of 300+ high school aged students. In 2021, Lauren joined brightwheel as Head of People Operations and Systems and People Operations Manager.

Lauren Anderson has a diverse educational background. Lauren earned a B.A. in Spanish and Economics from Emory University in 2008, after studying abroad at the University of Buenos Aires in 2007. Anderson also completed a Continuing Education program in Graphic Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2015. In 2021, they earned the CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online. Anderson has also obtained two certifications: Youth Mental Health First Aid from Children's Research Triangle in April 2019, and Wilderness First Responder from Wilderness Medical Associates International in June 2019.
