Aileen Canu is the Founder and Owner of Rooted People Solutions, which they established in 2019. With 24 years of experience in human resources, staffing, and recruiting, they are passionate about finding, placing, and supporting standout talent. Prior to starting their own company, Aileen worked as the Director of Human Resources at Brightwing since 2016, where they believed in the importance of fulfilling work for individuals. Before that, they served as the Human Resources Consultant, Advisory Services at Cohen & Company for almost 9 years. Aileen also has experience as an HR Consultant at Bon Secours Cottage Health Services and as an HR Analyst at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Aileen Canu earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Wayne State University, completing their studies between 1992 and 1995.
