Gary Knight

Gary Knight has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Gary began their career at Hines VA Hospital in 1982 as a Biomechanical Engineer and worked there until 1987. Gary then joined Ethicon, Inc. as a Design Engineer and stayed with the company until 1990. Knight then moved to Hinsdale Orthopaedics, where they worked in Biomechanics Research until 1992.

From 1992 to 2015, Knight worked at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a Johnson & Johnson Company. Gary started as a Design Engineer and later transitioned into the role of Project Director. During their time at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Knight was involved in various projects and held significant responsibilities.

In 2015, Knight established their own consulting firm, GKnight Consulting, LLC, where they served as the Principal Consultant until 2018.

Knight's most recent position was at Brijjit Medical LLC, where they held two roles. Gary was the Chief Operating Officer from 2018 to 2020 and then assumed the role of Vice President of R&D in July 2020.

Gary Knight completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Mississippi State University between 1976 and 1980. Gary then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University from 1980 to 1982. Later, they went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business between 1998 and 2001.
