Gabrielle Mitchell is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in teaching and educational support roles. Currently serving as a Learning Specialist at Brilla Public Charter Schools since August 2018, Gabrielle collaborates with kindergarten teams to implement tailored instructional strategies for students requiring academic or behavioral interventions. Prior to this role, Gabrielle was a Kindergarten ICT Teacher at the same institution, where responsibilities included co-teaching and creating lesson plans for a diverse student population. Gabrielle's earlier experience includes positions as a UPK Head Teacher, Corps Member with Teach For America, and Lead Preschool Teacher, among others. Gabrielle holds a Master's Degree in Education/Teaching of Individuals in Early Childhood Special Education Programs from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology/Anthropology from Pace University.
