Rob Schmuecker

Rob Schmuecker has held various roles in the tech industry since 2012. Rob began their career as a Lead Developer at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they developed a Human Resource Capital Analysis and Management system. In 2013, they were a Data-Analytics and Visualization Developer at AIG, working with Brilliant Associates Inc. to formulate, develop and implement world-first data visualizations. In 2014, they were a Partner and Senior Developer at Brilliant Associates Inc. and a Lead Developer at Toyota North America, where they built custom network data visualizations and assisted on two Dakar rally-raids. In 2015, they were a Lead Developer at Vodafone, where they built custom network data visualizations, and a Lead/Co-Lead Consultant Developer and Senior Tableau Service Developer at PwC and Yale University, respectively. In 2017, they became a Senior Tableau Service Developer at New York University, where they were responsible for implementing, supporting, developing and driving adoption of Tableau.

Rob Schmuecker obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of Exeter in 2006. Rob also holds a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from PRINCE2.com.
