Chris Roden has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various roles at different companies. Chris started their career at EY as a Senior Manager, where they worked from September 2001 to February 2011. Following this, they joined Energy Transfer as a Senior Manager of Financial and SEC Reporting for five years. Chris then moved on to Wells Fargo as an AVP, Audit Manager from December 2016 to December 2018. After that, they served as the Director of Finance at Aspen Beverage Group dba Finlays from 2019 to 2021. From September 2021 to March 2022, they held the position of Director of Corporate Accounting at Black Rifle Coffee Company, and then transitioned to become the Director of Financial and SEC Reporting from March 2022 to March 2023. Currently, they are working as the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at Brilliant Earth, starting in August 2023.
Chris Roden earned a Bachelor's of Science degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Economics from Trinity University, which was completed between 1996 and 2000. Subsequently, Chris completed a Master's degree in Accounting from Trinity University between 2000 and 2001. Currently, Chris holds a CPA certification.
