Lauren Marcus

Lauren Marcus has extensive work experience in corporate communication and employee engagement. Lauren worked as an Independent Consultant and Contractor, specializing in strategic internal and corporate communication consulting. Lauren also served as a Senior Client Strategist at Brilliant Ink, an agency focused on designing meaningful employee experiences. Prior to that, they were the Head of Internal Communications at WeWork and the Director of Internal Communications at GLG. Lauren also worked as a Corporate Communications and Engagement Strategist as a freelancer and held various roles, including Vice President and Associate, at Goldman Sachs. Their responsibilities at Goldman Sachs included developing internal employee engagement strategies, coordinating executive speaking engagements, and overseeing communication initiatives. Lauren took a sabbatical in 2014 before re-entering the workforce.

Lauren Marcus attended Binghamton University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English. In 2004, they also briefly attended UNSW. Prior to their university education, Lauren Marcus attended Benjamin Cardozo High School. Additionally, they completed a Yoga Teacher Training 200 Hour Certification in February 2020 through Yoga Alliance. Furthermore, Lauren Marcus participated in a writing workshop called Gotham Writing Workshop, although no specific dates or details were provided.
