Mike McGowan

Mike McGowan has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as an Administrative Assistant at Eaglecrest High School, where they provided support to the English department coordinator. In 2012, they worked as a Social Media Intern at Lindsay Hunt Media, handling day-to-day operations and marketing strategies for clients. In 2013, they served as an Administrative Assistant at the National Writing Project, assisting with tasks such as office protocol, event management, and web development. Mike also worked as a Production Assistant and Intern at Rebel Unit Media, maintaining their social media presence and bringing valuable content to their followers. From 2014 to 2019, Mike worked at Indiegogo as a Trust and Safety Analyst, Android Developer Intern, and ultimately as a Software Engineer, specializing in native mobile. Mike joined Everlane in 2019 as a Software Engineer and progressed to Senior Software Engineer, a position they held until 2023. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Brilliant.org.
