Alpha Chen

Alpha Chen is an experienced software engineer with a background in both engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Brilliant.org since September 2022, Alpha previously held the same title at Pivotal Labs from March 2015 to April 2022. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer position at Simply Measured and various roles at Microsoft, including SDET II and SDET for MacBU and Windows Mobile, respectively. Alpha also served as Chief Operating Officer at Nethernet from 2002 until August 2006. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, completed in 2006, and a high school diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, earned in 2001.
