Shauntel Garvey

Shauntel Garvey is the Co-Founder and General Partner at Reach Capital, an early-stage venture fund focused on investments that enhance human potential in learning, health, and work, a position held since April 2015. In addition to this role, Garvey serves as a board member for several organizations including the National Venture Capital Association and Brilliant.org, and holds board positions with FourthRev, TeachFX, and the Silicon Schools Fund, where Garvey is board chair. Advisory roles include being a GP Advisor for Screendoor and previously serving as a board member for Holberton School and Ellevation Education, both of which were acquired in 2022 and 2021, respectively. Garvey's educational background includes an MBA and an MA in Education from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
