Yelena Sukhanov

Yelena Sukhanov is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Brillouin Energy since March 2021, Yelena has previously worked as a Mechanical Engineer at SHAC, contributing to the design of a sustainable tiny home, and participated in the UC Berkeley StEP program, developing an air quality monitoring IoT device. Yelena's background also includes a role as a STEM Tutor at San Diego City College and experience in quality control and product development at Westcoat Specialty Coating Systems. Additionally, Yelena is a content contributor for Outdoor Project, producing written and photographic content focused on nature.
