Colin Gick

Colin Gick has a strong background in business intelligence and analytics. Colin is currently the Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics at Brinks Home, where they are responsible for creating and deploying a comprehensive data strategy. Colin has also held roles as a Senior Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics at Brinks Home and as a Manager of Business Intelligence at Signature Systems. In these positions, they oversaw data visualization, predictive modeling, and analytical solutions, as well as directed and mentored high-performing teams. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Business Intelligence Manager and Analytics and Reporting Manager at Signature Systems, where they implemented self-service analytics systems and led cross-functional teams. Colin also has experience as a Business Development Analyst and worked as a Freelance Web Designer early in their career.

Colin Gick attended Cornell University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication, with a double minor in Business and Information Science. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which began in 2020 and is expected to end in 2023. In terms of certifications, Colin obtained the Alteryx Core Certified certification from Alteryx in March 2019, the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in 2019, the Tableau Desktop Certified Associate certification from Tableau Software in October 2018, and the Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals certificate from Databricks in July 2022.
