Ruth Armstrong

Ruth Armstrong is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in health and wellbeing, particularly in smoking cessation and population health improvement. Currently serving as the Smoking Cessation Lead at Brio Leisure since June 2021, Ruth supports targeted smoking cessation interventions across Cheshire West and Chester and develops training tools for various organizations. Previously, Ruth held the role of PCN Proactive Care Lead at Holderness Health, focusing on establishing a proactive care team to address health inequalities. With a background in lifestyle support, youth work, and dance education, including positions at LiveWire Warrington and FagEnds Liverpool, Ruth has consistently aimed to motivate individuals towards healthier lifestyles while enhancing community engagement. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with Drama from Liverpool Hope University.
