Nathan Knighton

Nathan Knighton is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and medical device development. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at BrioHealth Solutions since February 2023, Nathan focuses on systems engineering and verification and validation testing for advanced Ventricular Assist Devices. Previously, Nathan held managerial and engineering roles at Xenter, Inc., where responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with physicians on design inputs. Nathan's early career includes notable achievements at the University of Utah, including pioneering AI-driven optical catheters and obtaining multiple US patents. Nathan's foundational experience spans roles at NAVAIR and Williams International, complemented by a strong educational background, holding a PhD and MS in Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering from the University of Utah, as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
