Steve Cahalane

Steve Cahalane has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve is currently working as the Vice President of Global Operations at BrioHealth Solutions since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations at Conformal Medical, Inc. from June 2021 to November 2023. Steve also worked at Miracor Medical SA as the Sr. Director R&D / Manufacturing from May 2019 to June 2021. Before that, they were an Independent Consultant from February 2018 to April 2019.

Steve has extensive experience in the medical field, having held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Mitralign from December 2004 to May 2017. In this role, they managed a team of over 30 people and was responsible for the development and manufacturing of multiple medical devices. Steve also took charge of the company's IP portfolio and significantly increased the number of issued US patents.

Prior to their time at Mitralign, Steve worked at Percardia Inc as the Development Engineering/Operations Manager from February 2001 to November 2004. Steve began their career at Boston Scientific, where they served as the Quality and Operations Manager from March 1995 to February 2001. Earlier, they worked at Boston Scientific Watertown as a Sr. Quality Engineer from April 1992 to March 1995. Steve started their career as a Quality Engineer at both C.R. Bard - USCI and C.R. Bard, Inc. in 1988.

Steve Cahalane obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell between 1982 and 1986.
