Kashifa Afrin

Kashifa Afrin has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Engineering at Briq since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Principal Financial Group from 2015 to 2021. At Principal Financial Group, their roles included Technical Lead from October 2020 to November 2021, Senior Analyst from March 2018 to October 2020, Analyst from August 2016 to February 2018, and Trainee Analyst from July 2015 to July 2016. During their tenure, Kashifa achieved significant accomplishments such as automating manual processes, designing and implementing applications, and identifying solutions to optimize server storage and reduce costs.

Kashifa Afrin completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from C V Raman College of Engineering in Bhubaneshwar from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended The Assembly of God Church from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained their CISCE degree in Science. In their earlier years of education, from 2005 to 2009, Kashifa attended Mahavir Institute of Education and Research in Kolkata, earning their ICSE degree in Science.

In addition to their formal education, Kashifa has obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they completed the "Microservices - Fundamentals" course offered by Coursera. In November 2014, they achieved the certification of "AMCAT Certified in English Comprehension" from Aspiring Minds. Furthermore, in September 2014, Kashifa obtained certifications from Aspiring Minds in various fields including "AMCAT Certified Data Processing Specialist," "AMCAT Certified Engineering Trainee - Electronics and Semiconductor Engineering," and "AMCAT Certified Software Engineer - IT Services."
