Brad Spolding has a diverse work experience in the arts and cultural sector. Brad has served as the Arts Program Director at Brisbane Powerhouse since 2022. Prior to that, they were an Advisory Board Member at The Macfarlane Foundation starting in 2016. Brad Spolding held the role of Chair at Punctum Inc from 2015 to 2022 and was also the Artistic Director at The SUBSTATION during the same period. Brad served as a Board Member at Theatre Network Australia from 2015 to 2020. Brad Spolding was the Executive Producer at ILBIJERRI Theatre Company from 2011 to 2015. Brad has also chaired the City of Melbourne Arts and Participation Advisory Panel from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they have worked as an Independent Producer, Associate Producer at TippingPoint Australia, and Executive Producer at Snuff Puppets in various periods throughout their career.

Brad Spolding has a diverse education history. Brad obtained a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of South Australia between 1993 and 1996. In 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Post Graduate degree in Arts Management at the same institution. Later on, from 2007 to 2009, Spolding attended the University of Melbourne where they achieved a Master's degree in Community Cultural Development. In 2013, they participated in an Executive Colloquium at the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership.
