Phoebe Meredith has a diverse work experience in the arts and entertainment industry. Phoebe is currently serving as the Director of Commercial Program at Brisbane Powerhouse since April 2022. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Director of Brisbane Comedy Festival, Senior Producer, and Producer at the same organization, starting in 2019. Phoebe also worked as the Deputy Chair at Brisbane Living Heritage Network from September 2021. Earlier in their career, they served as the General Manager/Producer of blackcat productions, where they managed the production of cabaret shows and the business operations. Phoebe also held roles at Sydney Theatre Company, including Venue Manager and Events Manager. Phoebe has a strong background in producing and managing various performing arts projects.
Phoebe Meredith attended John Paul College in Coffs Harbour from 1996 to 2000 for their high school education. Phoebe then went on to study at Charles Sturt University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a focus on Theatre/Media. Their field of study at Charles Sturt University included Stage and Production Management as well as Event Management.
