Deahna Cring

Deahna Cring is a Certified Meeting Professional with a proven track record of developing and managing successful and profitable events. As the Director of Programs & Events with the Greater Nashville Technology Council, Deahna works with the events team to oversee a wide range of programs, while looking for signals both inside and outside the organization for opportunities to grow the organization and its programming.

Before joining the NTC, Deahna was a senior meeting planner and account executive for a local Association Management Company, planning conferences of all sizes throughout the United States. Although new to the NTC, Deahna has been working in the Nashville events industry for over eight years.

Deahna graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies, and a minor in Nonprofit Management. Deahna moved to Nashville in 2008 and has witnessed firsthand the incredible growth and development that has taken place over the years. Deahna and her husband Jasson live in East Nashville with their three sons and a black lab named Luna. When Deahna is not planning events professionally, she’s most likely planning events for fun – bringing friends and family together – whether it be for a birthday celebration, a hot chicken competition, or just plain old fellowship.
