Ganapati Hegde

Ganapati Hegde is currently working as a Sr. Principal Scientist and Biomarker Group Lead at Bristol Myers Squibb since December 2021. Prior to this, Ganapati worked as a Sr. Principal Scientist at ORIC Pharmaceuticals from May 2017 to December 2021, and as a Principal Scientist at Genentech from August 2008 to May 2017. Ganapati also has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at UNMC, Scientist at Shantha Biotechnics Limited, and Scientist at Jubilant Biosys. Ganapati holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Karnatak University and a Postdoc in Cancer/Stem Cell Biology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Ganapati has a strong background in oncology drug discovery, biomarker discovery, assay development, and translational research.
