Gurusamy Balakrishnan

Gurusamy Balakrishnan is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Since May 2014, Gurusamy has held various roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, progressing from Scientist to Associate Scientific Director. Prior to this tenure, Gurusamy was a Research Scientist at the University of Washington from August 2007 to May 2014 and served as an Associate Research Scholar and Research Staff Member at Princeton University from July 2002 to August 2007. Gurusamy earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) between 1991 and 1997.
