Jayce Rhodes

Jayce Rhodes is a medicinal and synthetic organic chemist with extensive experience in drug discovery, focusing on the structure-based design and synthesis of small molecules for therapeutic applications in neuropathic pain, oncology, and human schistosomiasis. Currently serving as a Senior Associate Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb since September 2021, Jayce previously held positions at the Center for Innovative Drug Discovery, including a research fellowship where contributions led to the development of new lead compounds. Jayce's academic background includes a Master of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Interests encompass drug discovery in rare infectious diseases, psychoactive medications, and chronic illnesses, supplemented by experience as a teaching assistant and undergraduate research assistant.
