Juan Jose Palacios

Juan Jose Palacios is an experienced leader in Research IT and Informatics, currently serving as Director of Research IT Compute Infrastructure at Bristol Myers Squibb since November 2019. Previously, Juan Jose held various roles at Celgene, including Associate Director of Research Informatics and Knowledge Utilization, and Senior Manager in the same field. With a solid foundation in Biological Research Systems and IT management, Juan Jose's career spans over two decades, starting as CEO and CTO at Optima Technologies, SLU. Juan Jose is pursuing a BSc Honors in Computer Science and Mathematics at The Open University, holds multiple certifications from Cisco Networking Academy and Amazon Web Services, and has earned a Master in Business Administration from Instituto Internacional San Telmo.
