Michael Williams is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Associate Scientific Director and Automation and High-Throughput Experimentation Lead at Bristol Myers Squibb since November 2019. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Celgene, including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist, leading efforts in Drug Substance Development. Michael's previous experience also includes notable roles at Merck as Associate Principal Scientist and at Schering-Plough Research Institute as Senior Scientist in both Process Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Boston College and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
