John MacDonald

John MacDonald has extensive experience in leadership and management, currently serving as President of Britespan Building Systems Inc. since September 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing manufacturing operations, administrative functions, and marketing and sales, while reporting to the Board of Directors and promoting participative management. Prior to this role, John held the position of President at Wescast Industries Inc. from October 2007 to August 2015, managing a $150 million P&L across five operations, and served as Director of Materials & Procurement for North American Operations at the same company from October 1994 to January 2007. John's career also includes a tenure in Materials Management at Magna International from September 1993 to October 1994. John holds a Business Administration degree specializing in Materials and Procurement from Conestoga College, completed in 1993.
