Duty Manager Flight Dispatch - Global Operations at British Airways

Alan Gardner has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as a Duty Manager Flight Dispatch within Global Operations at British Airways since October 2012. Prior roles at British Airways include Flight Planner, Global Flight Planner in Air Traffic Operations, Weight and Balance Trainer, and Centralised Loadcontrol Hub Controller. Previously, Alan worked at British Midland International from March 2006 to October 2012, where responsibilities included Aircraft Dispatcher, focusing on turnaround coordination and weight and balance management, and Ramp Assistant, providing support for aircraft arrivals and departures at Edinburgh Airport. Alan holds a degree in Consumer & Management Studies from Queen Margaret University and has studied Consumer Studies at Glasgow Clyde College.
