Nedal Salem is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in brand marketing and management. Currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at BAT since 2017, Nedal has a proven track record of revitalizing markets and driving sustainable growth. Previously, in various roles at British American Tobacco from 1998 to 2015, significant contributions included transforming BAT’s 9th largest global market after a decade of decline and successfully managing the global reinvention of the Lucky Strike brand across multiple key markets. Nedal also held notable positions focused on strategy and sales, launching consumer-based strategies and reorganizing routes-to-market for consistent growth. Earlier professional experience includes a role as Country Business Manager at Philips. Nedal holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from The George Washington University.
