Umer Farooq

Umer Farooq is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and modeling. Currently serving as a Sr. Data Modeller at BAT since June 2024, Umer previously held the position of Principal Data Engineer at Systems Ltd from January 2023 to May 2024. Prior roles include Sr. Data Engineer at Addo from July 2022 to December 2022, Data Engineer at Teradata from February 2020 to July 2022, and Big Data Engineer at Platalytics, Inc from August 2014 to January 2020, where Umer contributed to developing a comprehensive platform for simplifying Big Data analysis. Umer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Fast NUces Lahore, earned between 2010 and 2014.
